Moving day! Lil’ AK is moving to her final home. It’s a 5 gallon grow bag. Fungus knats are gone. I watered her 2 hours before transplanting so that she had enough water in her to soften the shock of moving. I separated the rootball just a bit and put her in the bag gently. I added about 10 worms from my garden. I watered around her rootball and then backfilled with dry soil to ensure that the soil surface will stay dry.

Despite trying not to overwater, I have fungus knats. I didn’t have the fans pointed properly to keep the air moving over the soil surface. Lucky the sticky stiks gave me an early warning and also helped to stick most of the flies before the problem exploded into a nightmare. Sticky Stiks was a recommendation from my local grow shop. Cheap insurance. I’ve added the fans and watered with a 1:4 hydrogen peroxide and water mixture and things should be fine.

Tent is ready to go!I have the two outside light bars out for now. I won’t need them until the plants are vegging. Carbon filter and fan out the basement wall in a 6” duct. 2 clip fans up top. Temperature and humidity sensors. Trying to keep the floor less cluttered with cords etc on this grow.
