Bruce Banger & Cheese - Seedsman Seed Co
Starting mothers for a SOG
Going to be running a 3x3 sea of green. Basically root clones, then straight into 12/12, one cola per plant. Going to need mother’s so here’s where it begins. EDIT: things changed, had to toss the mothers/sea-of-green plan. Now just flowering these before a round of autos. SOG coming soon, maybe this winter

Day 156 (Week 23)
19 updates

Day: 156
Moved the girls to the big tent and quadrupling the light from 250 to 1000 watts of 3000k LED. They bounced back well from their neglect, now it’s time to strip them down hard and expose all those stacked bud sites. Grow flowers not leaves, wish me luck.

Mystrain420-@eaegifts Nice big girls, that’s what it’s all about 👍🏾
Day: 151
Strip and flip gets it done. See you in a week!

growin4thepham They look very happy and healthy
Day: 147
Already bouncing back. Didn’t like the hours I had on the timer, basically 100% flipped! So the girls had 12 dark, then 24 light, then they’ll be back to 12/12 with the hours that work best with my work schedule. Should be looking great by Saturday

Mystrain420-@eaegifts Nice girls 👍🏾
Day: 146
Switched to 12/12 today. I know they look bad, you should have seen them before the strip down. Had a lot of things happen all at once in my life so they were VERY neglected for a few weeks. They’re not as tall as they should be this far in, and honestly I should have switched to flower a month ago or sooner. Such is life. Gave them a really strong batch of organic nutes, then I’ll hit them with a kelp extract only heavy watering on Wednesday, then get them transitioned to an early flower transition feeding this weekend. There will be a really heavy leaf pulling in a few weeks after buds sites are well developed. They’ll bounce back and produce well enough, you’ll see.

They’ll be going into their final 9” pots today. I’ll keep 2 of each for mother’s, then the scruffy looking Cheese is getting flowered

Day: 38
9” pots that are actually 8” across and 8.5” tall

Day: 34
Roots starting to pop out the bottom of the pots. This weekend is final transplant time for these mothers. Maybe another 4 weeks until I take the first round of test clones. Time to clean out the OxyCloner to get ready.

Day: 28
Went with 6” pots before the final big pots. Want to avoid wet roots so this helps prevent overwatering and allows for more frequent feeding. The soil is a 3:2 Happy Hippy and perlite. Happy Hippy is just the cheapest bagged soil. I use liquid fertilizer so I don’t care that this soil is pretty inert, and actually prefer it

mrtkilla Will they bounce back from that yellow?
tortuga Yes of course, this is a hearty plant that will recover from almost anything. The yellowing is just new growth stealing nitrogen from old growth, which is due to me being behind on my transplanting schedule and not giving nutes in the previous watering. Check back in a week to see all the lush new growth
Day: 26
Time to repot, should have done it yesterday but I’ll get it done today

Day: 20
Coming along nicely. Slowed down for 2 days after transplant but kicking back off now. Roots already starting to pop out the bottoms, I’ll transplant again this weekend (in 5 days). They’ll get 1 more transplant into their 6” pots, then to their final 9x9 squares where they will live out their lives as mothers.
