Day: 4
24 hours after the last photo. Same process as the previous day; open every 12 hours, carefully unfold for oxygen circulation then back in the warm closet. They are ready to be moved to rapid rooters now.

Day: 4
Soaked rapid rooters for 12 hours, squeezed out all air bubbles and let it sit overnight. In the morning I squeezed out excess water and placed them in the tray. Added distilled water to the tray to be able to pull water from the bottom. Carefully placed beans in rapid rooters. Pinched off a smidge from the bottom of the plug and covered the tops after placing beans inside. Still reading conflicting information on starting lights yet, but went ahead and flipped lights on. Spider farmer SF-1000 is the light I currently have.

Mystrain420 Your not supposed to soak rapid rooters that would mess them up since they have micronutrients in them.
GrowPlantsNotBabies Everything I have read says otherwise. They don’t need any nutrients at this point.
Mystrain420 The official Rapid Rooters are made by general hydroponics and have built in micronutrients, you’re not supposed to soak them and that is why they come in a resealable bag to hold moisture. I’m using them now in my Roswell grow and have used them in the past. You may be confusing them with peat pellet. Good luck on your first grow 👍🏾

Day: 3
24 hours after placing in paper towels. Twice a day I’d open it and carefully unfold for plenty of oxygen to circulate. The ziplock bag stayed in a dark closet with modems keeping it warm.

Day: 2
Soaked in a cup of distilled water for roughly 18 hours. Swirled around 12 hours to help them sink. At 18 hours I pulled them and switched to the paper towel method.
