Day: 18

Today is a sad day, I finally put GSC to rest. Yesterday to see if any growth happened, I opened the peat moss pod it germinated in to see if the roots were growing or went bad as to why there wasn’t any growth over the past week. Sadly when I went to replant it, the stem snapped partially (pictured). I tried to do what I could but this morning I found her shriveled up and dead. So this ends her journey. Going forward, I started to soak another GSC & Maui seed to refill her bucket. If none of them sprout, I’ll use a clone from Black Opal or BD x WW.

Day: 9

Environmental Conditions: • Temperature: 72°F (high: 77°F, low: 72°F) • Humidity: 58% (high: 62%, low: 46%) Nutrient Info (not checked today): • pH: 6.00 • PPM: 409 Comment: Water turned back on after pod was dried this morning. With pod planted higher, I will continue community water cycle (4x 1hr feeds). Hopefully growth will start again. I will continue to monitor for further growth and will cut watering in half if growth doesn’t continue. Also lowered Ph levels from 7.75 to 6.00 using 5 tsp of lemon juice) 📩Open to advice on how to rescue her!📩

Day: 8

Environmental Conditions: • Temperature: 73°F (high: 77°F, low: 72°F) • Humidity: 62% (high: 62%, low: 49%) Nutrient Info: • pH: 7.69 • PPM: 421 Comment: Noticed no real growth over past 2 days, so I pulled peat moss pod and found it over-saturated and sitting too low where it wasn’t drying properly. Replanted the pod slightly higher in the clay pellets. Stopped watering for the night. Will check the moisture level tomorrow and resume watering cycle once the pod has dried sufficiently. Switched from the old constant humidifier to the new Spider Farmer 3-in-1 humidifier, which offers better control over humidity and has a larger water tank.

Day: 4

Girl Scout Cookies seedlings are showing good initial progress. Sprouts have started to emerge and appear healthy. The grow tent environment is stable with controlled temperature and humidity. The peat pellet growing pucks are maintaining appropriate moisture levels. The hydroponic system with BioBizz All-Mix and BioBizz nutrients is supporting healthy growth. LED and CFL lighting are providing adequate illumination. Planning to start low-stress training (LST) as the plants develop further. No signs of pests or nutrient deficiencies.
