Flushed and trimmed these girls a week ago (oct. 8) and did a bud wash. The bud wash was extremely important..the shit that came off in the water and amount of bugs and debris was absolutely disgusting. Ended up throwing the dynamite to the larf pile for edibles as it’s just not dense enough that trimming/smoking it was not worth my time.

I don’t think these girls got the amount of sun they really needed during crucial flowering stage. I wasn’t that late in the season planting but perhaps I did something not quite right. They’re not nearly as frosty with trichomes as my indoor photos get. First time outdoor and with autos, I’m not blown away by these sub par plants. The northern lights didn’t take well to being topped (bag was mislabelled didn’t know it was an auto until it started flowering) and it’s pretty much mainly grown single blade leaves. It’s derpy af, which is a shame since it grew two full fat stalks, but with almost no trichomes to be seen and very little sticky with resin. 🤷🏼‍♀️ part of me wants to just chop em down and say goodbye

Hardly a trichome to be seen, if any, on this Northern Lights auto...Can anyone tell me if this is normal for an auto to take this long or is something seriously wrong with this plant??? Seems a little weird it’s been about 3 months and nothing yet. They do have some smell to them. Approx. day as I can’t remember what the date was when I planted but somewhere in 1st or 2nd week of June.

Just guessing on the approx day... current size of plants as of aug 24. Buds are various sizes depending on which plant, some are starting to fatten up a little while others are just starting to bud. The northern lights is a little older than the others so it’s furthest developed. I topped it having no idea it was an auto, it ended up extremely stressed and only growing leaves of 3 so I didn’t top it again leaving me with a derpy looking Y shaped plant. She may look goofy but the buds are coming in nicely filling out the stalk.

Well it’s getting to be that time where they won’t last outdoors much longer with the weather. I don’t believe they got the sun they needed during flowering. The dynamite is larfy, they all are lacking in a frosty trichome, and the N. Lights is just derpy af having mostly grown single blade leaves. Although lots of ppl grow magnificent autos, my overall experience has been a hard pass especially growing outdoors. Not enough control. I’ll likely try next year anyway but plant a lot earlier in the season.

-Unsure of the exact date I planted the seeds. I wanna say it was shortly into the first week of June. Missing in the picture is the Northern Lights as it was originally indoors and thought to be a photo. Figured out the bag was mislabelled when she was the only girl in veg that was starting to pre flower. Moved her outside after that with the rest of the autos. -I also have 2x grapefruit in one pot as I didn’t think one was gonna pop and planted a backup just in case so ended up with two. -Found thrips on these girls before pre flower and had given them a couple light sprays of an insecticide
