Day: 70

Exploded with growth as as we have had rain for a long time here. Trimmed some of the inner leaves.

Day: 67

Trimmed last night to expose only the new growth. I expect sun for a while now. The days are in the 80’s and the nights are over 60. They will no longer need protection from the cold. Integrated companion plants.i

Day: 49

The wind swept style will fit this one well. So far what I’ve seen, it is a female. Today I will make the final decision. Does anybody want to weigh in on this? Look back on some pictures and tell me what you see.

Day: 47

Developing very nicely. It’s been outside for two days straight. The weather is nice. I am still trying to find out gender.

Day: 44

Give Grow Big nutrients. Neem. 60*s and full sun.

Day: 42

I think this will be female on account of its wispy glands. Please share your thoughts.

PeeWeeDWC Pic is a little fuzzy but looks like pistols coming out. So that’s female. But keep checking it later to make sure pods don’t form. They can turn hermi

GYMP

GYMP It is blurry. I will check and see tomorrow. Crossing my fingers that it’s a girl.

GYMP

GYMP New picture a few days later. Now, I am thinking it might be a male.

Day: 41

Trying to strengthen stem to support the weight of these leaves. I will probably raise the soil level.

Day: 29

Plant is looking better. Even the curled up burnt leaves are looking better. Will continue with water only.

Day: 24

Second tier seems to come in well. Very windy outside. In raised planter to protect from wind. High will be in the 70s today. Water in the morning rather than evening. That seems to be best.

Day: 23

Loving the 70* sunny weather! I water at sunset and put in garage overnight as the Weather is cool then.

organic_grower

organic_grower You should water first thing in the morning instead of at night. 👊

GYMP

GYMP Good call. I imagine that is a big reason why it is drooping in the morning.

Day: 21

At 10a, I brought it outside. Temperature is 57*F. Minimal wind with humidity teetering at 40%. Watered at night. Sunny all day. I think it will be strong. At least, that is my hope. Peace out.

Day: 15

Soaked up full sun throughput day. Watered at dusk. Put in heated Garage overnight.

Day: 14

Brought outside. The stem seems quite strong. The plant is forming nicely. We will see if the others will come out or if they died in the cold.

Day: 13

A Cold snap went through last night. I left my plants out. But as cold as it was, GEISHA stayed alive. I brought it inside the garage to warm up. I have five other grow bags with seeds. Perhaps they are still alive, too?

Day: 12

Added it placed into a raised planter. Gives protection from wind. Given water only

Day: 11

Ripped that round leave when transferring to a bigger pot. Today, though, it is in good shape and strong.

Day: 10

Good morning guys and gals. My grow light is weak. Also, it goes off after every 10 minutes. So there’s not much growth on the stem. That’s because the leaves are too heavy for the stem to hold them up. Might have to start using a fan. As I have not. Today I plan on getting my lights working. I do not think I will take it outside today as there would be no way to escape the wind. However, the stem must get stronger. I need to get my notes together and organize them. I need to take inventory. I’m getting everything ready for the season. Anybody out there doing the same?

MarimamaJuanita

MarimamaJuanita Good afternoon Looking good 👍 leaving the plant on the windowsill in the meantime could do well for your plant and trust in it that it will grow as it’s supposed to. Fan on low would be nice too and at night since it’s colder then it can be moved away from the windowsill, happy growing!

Day: 9

Damn, I deleted my last update trying to add a picture. Kind of dumb. Anyways, I brought my plant outside. It was quite windy. I took it out of the wind. Here it is in the sun soaking it up and wait it down with rocks. No longer am I worried about the wind. The sun is shining and it’s soon shall get better. A bunch of people replied to my last update. I lost it. That is most unfortunate. I hope you come back and try again.

Caliban

Caliban Maybe less water. Also sunlight might be too strong to start. Let her dry out and if you want sun keep it shaded light.

GYMP

GYMP Thanks bud. I thought sun would dry the soil. Seems to. I understand how fragile these plants are at first. I am putting it under lights tonight. Tomorrow, the soil will have dried. We’ll see.

Day: 8

There is Snow on the ground, sure, but my plant needs the sunlight. My grow light is only sporadically working. And it is very thin. I set it inside my beanie to keep the soil warm. The sun will come out. The temperature will warm. My plant will be fine. Put Geisha to a peat pot.

Day: 7

Placed under my fan to dry out some. I forgot about it being in a bowl with no drainage. I will transplant it soon anyways.

Day: 5

It is still cold when I bring her outside the first time. Cold but sunny. The temperature dropped considerably by sunset so we go inside for warmth. I added Miracle Grow Plant Food.

DollarForDank

DollarForDank Miracle grow isn’t the best. It’s slow release, and has an excessive amount of certain nutrients, which will cause lockout. Also, I’d suggest not letting them out below 68° Fahrenheit, unless they’re asleep.
