PJ’s home grown Thanks dude. Any advice for what to add to it in the tub. The mixture of substrate etc. what’s worked well for you.

Growjay Simpson I always did a 1:1 ratio of colonized mycelium to coco coir. Once colonized I crumble the spawn and place a layer of colonized mycelium spawn on top of a layer of coco, then another layer of spawn with a final layer of coco on top! What do you plan on using for a bulk substrate?! Coco worked for me because it seemed resistant to contamination and produced pins quickly!

Growjay Simpson Nice start to your mycelium network! I grew the fungi for a looooooong time it’s a fun hobby! I also used to extract my own DMT from mimosa hostilis root bark...psychonauts unite!

Growjay Simpson I definitely recommend first focusing on dialing in your fresh air exchange! I’ve lost a couple batches of strongly colonized mycelium covered cakes due to a lack of FAE...is your bin going to be misted and fanned or will you have a more sophisticated setup??!
