Day: 27
It’s been a few days and I’ve done A LOT in that time. I thought my growth stopped because I needed to transplant but that clearly wasn’t it. There was still plenty of space for roots in the 1 gal, but I went ahead and did it anyway and sprinkled myko on the root ball. Then I still wasn’t getting growth. I suddenly remembered that I never put my lights back down 🤦♂️. So I did that and immediately started getting growth again. I also learned from CocoForCannabis, that I need to water and feed EVERYDAY to 10% run off. I started doing that and not doing the “plain water every other time” thing and growth Kickstarted again. Moreover, The plants look green and happy other than a few leaves that were previously damaged. They’re not drooping like they would before. They are almost always looking perky and green. WHEW! I also learned that, contrary to the chart I had been using, I needed to be adding in my cal mag first and not last. 🙄 so that’s fixed too. Growth this morning was 5 multi-leaf nodes, so I topped them all this morning since I’ve had a couple of days of healthy happy plants. They seem to be taking it well so far. So I’m treating this as Week 3, part II. I’m also adding 5 ml/gal terpinator.

toog How’s the feeding everyday going?
Day: 21
Didn’t water today. A lot of new growth on the lower parts of the plant. Main leaves continue to grow. Stems are noticeably thicker than when they were seedlings. There’s some leaf discoloration and the tips of some leaves. I think it’s mostly a combo of a little nitro burn and the leaf tips touching the medium. If you bury your nose you can get a grassy smell from the leaves. The one on the front right and the one on the back left are the two strongest plants so far. The one on the back left especially has been growing good and strong this week.

sodatie After doing some more reading, I think the roots have outgrown these 1 gal pots and are ready to be transplanted. I will water and feed tomorrow and then day after next I will transplant into 5 gal (unless shit goes sideways and I need to do it sooner lol
Day: 20
Raised the light 1” to 25” from canopy. I want to make sure the plants are trying to grow up and won’t burn if they do. I watered today with plain water +cal mag at ~6.0 ph. The plants in the front show some signs of what I’m thinking is nitrogen toxicity. I’m probably not going to water for another day or two, but I’ll plan on feeding those front two plain cal mag water if the tips and clawing aren’t better.

Day: 18
First day of week 3. Turned the lights up to 75% Veg, 60% bloom. Did not water today, left them alone. Humidity probably got a little low today. Stems are turning bright red and are thickening up. 2nd set of leaves are reaching the edges of the pots.

Day: 17
Watered with nutes ph at 5.6. Accidentally gave a double dose of cal mag but it’s coco so I just let it go and will watch. Leaves are somewhat droopy but since I just watered and fed I’m going to leave them alone. I thought the top leaves would grow out more by today but it looks like the plant focused more on new growth on the lower sites. Temps were in low 70s all day but when I checked before lights out they were under 70 even with lights on. So I turned the heater on low to keep temps up tonight.

Day: 16
Lowered the light and lifted the plant with drainage racks. Seems to be loving the light. Have slowed way down on the watering, only every other day now. Leaves are growing nicely, I should have little five-pointer leaves by the end of the week. Lights are 24” from top of canopy.

Day: 13
Yesterday I did a ph balanced cal mag watering, no other nutes. I raised the light a little and the leaves seemed to stop dropping as much. Today I watered with nutes and I raised the lights all the way back up. I realized I probably need to wait until next week to lower. I’m also probably watering too much so I probably will not water tomorrow. Seeing some really nice leaf growth, but not growing up much, another reason to raise lights and see what happens. I’m still not running the exhaust fan because there’s no smell yet.

Day: 9
Transplanted into 1 gal pots. Lowered the lights to 24”. Gave first feeding in the morning and then another when I got home from work using the feeding schedule attached.

Day: 6
Added humidifier to get to 75%+ humidity. Big improvement. Leaves were looking bad before but perked up within an hour of bringing humidity 50%+ Note: I should have transplanted these into 1 gal pots MUCH sooner. The tap roots were coming out of the bottom of the starters an inch or more. The moment I saw roots peeking out of the starter I should have transplanted.

Day: 4
@407p we have growth! Three seeds have popped! Two are showing leaves and the other is just a stem so far. Last night I threw a small space heater in the garden on low to bring temps up to 73-77 degrees and I also raised the light. Still only one light on.

Day: 4
Second light is in and on. Maintaining 18:6 light schedule. Two more seeds have popped since yesterday but have yet to show their leaves. The three that popped yesterday are getting nice and tall. Removed humidity dome. Watered each plug about half a cap full of distilled water each (just a splash for each).
